Annabelle (12 years old) won numerous prizes in the junior photography section at the local Quorn Agricultural show last year (2008). This was her first attempt and she won either first or second in every section that she entered into. This also included a first in portrait photography. She also won the champion print in the junior section of the show with a wonderful shot of Devils Peak taken through a Golden Wattle in bloom.

She loves photographing nature, birds, trees, lizards etc and also is very keen to get into macro photography of flowers, bees, ants etc. Another of her wishes is to try out black & white photography.

Having travelled over most of Australia, often on my own across desserts and sand hills I have  a large collection of slides that someday I hope to find time to scan and make digital prints of.

Photography is my one only lifetime hobby and I have always been seen carrying a camera. The Flinders Ranges is one place I always seem to come back to and enjoy the vastness and wonderful colours at various times of the day. The light can be magic around here with the mountains changing colour all day long.
